When we hear people complaining about both small and large things these days, it’s difficult to not say, “Well, at least you don’t have COVID-19, right?” But saying something like that is hardly empathetic. Strife is not limited to a pandemic, and grief and loss are not relative to anything else. As both human beings and employers, we need to understand these facts now more than ever.
