Google, Uber and Microsoft Drop Forced Arbitration For Sex Harassment Cases

Last week we noted that many US companies force employees to sign an arbitration agreement that prevents them from seeking redress for sexual harassment and/or discrimination in a court of law (original News post here). Google was one such company, and hundreds of staffers walked out to protest this policy. Protests such as those have yielded quick results, as major companies just announced an end to forced arbitration agreements for sexual harassment and discrimination cases.
